The Yukon Star Viking Farm project is a pioneering agripreneurship incubator based in Watson Lake, Yukon. Inspired by the innovative “1000m² free microfarm” model, this initiative transforms Canada’s polar agricultural potential into a global entrepreneurship opportunity.
At the heart of the project is a commitment to offer free 1000m² plots of land (hexagon-shaped) within a uniquely designed, golf-course-surrounded landscape, where selected participants from around the world can launch cold-climate microfarms and agriculture-based enterprises. These plots will be part of a larger circular economy ecosystem, focused on high-value crops, climate-resilient design, and international cultural collaboration.

To profitably incubate hundreds of Arctic agri-startups that redefine farming in extreme climates.

Objectives
* Microfarm Allocation: Offer up to 100 free 1000m² microfarms (hexagonal plots) to selected entrepreneurs.
* Entrepreneur Incubation: Host, train, and fund early-stage agripreneurs for 12–18 months.
* Revenue Generation: Achieve net-positive income through produce sales, agritourism, product innovation (e.g., Viking-branded Arctic goods), and strategic exports.
* Model Replication: Document and replicate the model globally in other extreme climate regions.
