The International Agriculture Volunteer Program is committed to nurturing a global community of environmentally conscious individuals actively contributing to sustainable agriculture practices worldwide. Volunteers will be encouraged to deeply engage with local communities, fostering a profound sense of global citizenship. Through hands-on experience and cultural immersion, the program aims to empower volunteers as ambassadors of sustainable farming and advocates for raising awareness about global climate change.
Cultural Exchange and Community Engagement:
. Match volunteers to projects based on their skills, preferences, and the needs of the host farm.
. Offer flexible program durations ranging from 2 - 12 weeks to accommodate different volunteer preferences, and arrange free room and board for volunteers during their stay on the farms.
. Design a balanced schedule that allows volunteers to work, learn, and engage in cultural activities, including cultural exchange events, language lessons, and local tours to enhance the volunteer experience.
. Encourage volunteers to actively participate in the local community, fostering a profound sense of global citizenship.
Agricultural Innovation:
Our pioneering vision involves operating a farm that flourishes in both the northern regions of Canada during the summer and the vibrant landscapes of Cuba during the winter.
Envision the perfect harmony in agriculture, transitioning from cold zone farming to tropical agriculture, where the natural rhythm seamlessly aligns with the changing seasons. This concept is more than just a business endeavor; it's a tribute to the Earth's abundance and a testament to the collaboration between two distinct climates.
Our forward-thinking approach surpasses conventional farming methods, it transcends geographical boundaries and seasonal constraints. It represents a year-round dedication to sustainable and diverse agricultural practices.
Join us in transforming agriculture, and fostering global connections, we embrace the best of two worlds – the Canadian summer and the Cuban winter – to create a year-round oasis of agricultural excellence and make a positive impact on communities worldwide. Apply now and be part of something extraordinary! 🌿🤝
In the vast realm of natural wonders, one gem stands out for its remarkable benefits and versatility – the Chaga mushroom.
Harvested primarily from birch trees in cold climates, especially in regions like the Yukon, Chaga boasts an impressive array of nutrients and bioactive compounds.
We are operating an 80-acre Chaga farm in Watson Lake, Yukon, Canada.
Sustainable Foraging Innovation Practice
We are endeavoring to innovatively integrate polar agriculture with tropical agriculture. Our vision is to harmonize Cuba's unique coffee, honey, and rum with Canada's Chaga mushrooms, resulting in the creation of unique products such as Chaga coffee, Chaga honey, and Birch rum.
Volunteer Work in Canada:
Tree cutting, birch tree planting, Chaga cultivation, and fishing
Volunteer Work in Cuba:
Coffee cultivation, beekeeping and honey production, and rum brewing
We are actively seeking strategic farm partners worldwide, encompassing tropical, temperate, and frigid zones, to collaboratively develop and produce a series of distinctive farm products based on Chaga Mushroom.
Our goal is to increase the accessibility of these extraordinary foods while advocating for a net-zero lifestyle, allowing everyone to enjoy the remarkable gifts bestowed by nature and spread the beauty of the Arctic to the world.
