Yukon Star Adventures
At the edge of the world, time seems to be forgotten. Let's embark on a journey to this remote north, seeking the magical experiences between the cosmos and the earth, where the midnight sun shines brightly throughout the entire summer.
Eternal Light:
In the Inuit legends of the Arctic region, there is a beam of radiance known as the 'Eternal Light,' which continuously illuminates the polar lands, bestowing upon its people life, hope, and strength.
Due to the inclination of the Earth's axis, the duration of sunlight varies at different latitudes. When the sun is directly overhead at the Earth's North and South Poles during certain times of the year, there is an elongation of daylight. When daylight extends to twenty-four hours, it is known as the polar day, giving rise to the phenomenon of the midnight sun.
Experience Yukon's Unique Terrain:
Navigate through diverse terrains, from dense forests to open meadows, with ease on our E-Bikes. Tackle challenging trails or cruise along serene lakeshores, all while experiencing the Yukon's unique and breathtaking landscapes.
The entire journey covers approximately 2350 kilometers, with a planned itinerary of 14 days, averaging about 160 kilometers per day. Starting from Vancouver, the route includes stops at Hope, Lytton, Clinton, Williams Lake, Quesnel, Prince George, McLeod Lake, Dawson Creek, Peace River, Trutch, Fort Nelson, Muncho Lake, Liard River Hot Springs, and finally reaching Watson Lake.
Watson Lake is the famous midpoint of the Alaska Highway. From here, you can continue westward, passing through Whitehorse, Haines Junction, Beaver Creek, and reaching Alaska. Alternatively, you can head north, passing through Faro, Carmacks, Dawson City, Eagle Plains, Inuvik, and reaching Tuktoyaktuk on the shores of the Arctic Ocean, continuing on an even more marvelous journey.
Watson Lake serves as the midway point and staging post for Tuktoyaktuk's traditional Arctic expedition from Vancouver to the Arctic Ocean, with the iconic Sign Post Forest located here.
We welcome everyone to Watson Lake to share in the thrill of exploring the Yukon on electric bikes, supporting the establishment of the Global Electric Bike Capital at Watson Lake. Let's actively promote green, carbon-free travel and enhance awareness of global climate change.
Situated on the 80-acre Aurora E-Bike Archery Golf Park at Watson Lake, we are pleased to offer complimentary camping spaces indefinitely for all participating riders. This allows everyone to rejuvenate and replenish before embarking on the next leg of their Arctic electric bike adventure.
One of the most epic road trips in all of Canada is the Dempster Highway, a 740-km dirt road stretching from Dawson, Yukon to Inuvik, NWT. The highway takes you from one territory to another, through the Tombstone, Ogilvie and Richardson mountain ranges and three ecological areas, providing the opportunity to view wildlife and enjoy some of the most beautiful wilderness in the world, passing the Arctic Circle and all sorts of magnificent scenery, and finally linking up to the 148-km Inuvik-to-Tuktoyaktuk-Highway, which takes you all the way to the Arctic Ocean.
Step into the world of larger than life and test your skills in a unique fusion of E-Bike, archery, and golf amidst the awe-inspiring landscapes of Yukon.
Imagine riding a E-bike and holding a simple bow, feeling the weight of the string in your hand, and the rush of excitement as you shoot your first arrow. Archery is a timeless and authentic sport that has been enjoyed by people for centuries, and it's tons of fun!
